Ah, Fall in Montréal! What a beautiful, colourful and cozy season! Montréal is a city full of things to do during these lovely months, so the Halte team has selected a few to share with you.
What better way to spend the fall than admiring the stunning colours of the trees? Parc La Fontaine, Maisonneuve Park and Mount Royal are all excellent spots for a stroll with a nice hot drink while taking in the beautiful foliage.
Speaking of hot drinks, what says autumn more than a good pumpkin spice latte? Many cafés serve them, like Café Le Loup Bleu and Flers Café, both close to Halte 24-7!
- Café Le Loup Bleu - 1279 Marie-Anne Street, Montréal (2 blocks from the Halte!)
- Flers Café - 1034 Mont-Royal Ave E, Montréal (a few blocks from the Halte!)
Fall also means Halloween! Several events around the city celebrate the holiday, such as the Halloween market at Parc Jean-Drapeau, where you can meet local artisans, or Halloween at the Zoo Ecomuseum, where you can meet animals along a themed trail for the whole family.
Finally, the fall classic in Montréal is without a doubt the lanterns at the Botanical Garden. You can wander through the many gardens while enjoying the magical glow of the lanterns. There are also plenty of activities for everyone, whether young or old!
- Gardens of Light at the Botanical Garden (September 3 to November 1)
Autumn is undoubtedly a season full of magic! The Halte team wishes you a wonderful time enjoying it!
