What is Poutine Week?

For two weeks, in a friendly competition, several restaurants in the greater Montreal area will reinvent the famous Poutine, each in their own way. Prizes and honourable mentions will be awarded on the Poutine Week website, including the "People's Choice" and the "Jury's Choice".

This is an opportunity to taste a variety of Poutine, each more original than the last, and especially to discover new flavours.


Where does it come from?

This event was born 11 years ago, when Na'eem Adam and Thierry Rassam couldn't decide who served the best burger and the best poutine in town. So they decided to create Poutine Week and elect the best one.

Started on a small scale, poutine week is now expanding across Canada, to the delight of our taste buds.
